AVENIDA DE LA PAZ MASTER BATH REVEAL

Bathroom remodel

Happy Wednesday friends! I've been meaning to share this master bath reno and today is finally the day! This was such a fun project to work on, first off the home is nestled in the hills of San Clemente and the best seat in the house to catch those picture perfect ocean views are -- you guessed it -- in the bath. The clients are a young family who wanted to maximize their space and bring the bath out of its outdated eighties former funk. It was also important to them to use finishes that not only were sleek and stylish like them but also easy to maintain. In the end we accomplished all that and more!

//before//

The use of the space was far from efficient and the overall look was outdated. Can you spy my little design assistant?

Floating wood vanities, a cement tile accent wall, and a stand-alone tub were on our list of must-haves.

If you look closely you'll notice the only major design change was switching slate hex floor tile for some awesome herringbone brick tile that lightened the space a lot!

We didn't get a chance to get this project professionally shot but you can still see what a transformation this was! The space looks so much bigger and light filled, and the cement tile feature wall is my fave!
