My favorite time of the year is here, and I've been enjoying rediscovering old favorites packed at the back of my closet as well as adding some new pieces to my wardrobe this season. Although it's not quite cool enough for sweaters and boots, I've been layering transitional pieces like ribbed tees and turtlenecks with some thinner knights and corduroys. I've also enjoyed seeing all the fun street style looks and runway trends from the recent NYWF and the Paris and Milan Fashion Weeks as well. It's so refreshing to see a return to such an iconic tradition, and I'm excited to see how haute couture trends are translated into this upcoming season's styles.

I've been seeing these popping up everywhere (no pun intended), and I like how the shirtless version like this one can be easily added to any outfit for an instant upgrade.

Much like our fascination with harlequin floors, the checkerboard trend can be spotted everywhere from bags to dresses this season.
Oversize Bags
After all the tiny bags of recent seasons, we are seeing a return of oversize shoppers, perhaps a reflection of our increased mobility. I especially love the quilted variety that comes in lots of great colors.
